Jason Ludeke
Chief Executive Officer

Jason joined the Aspen team as CFO in 2012 and has been CEO since 2016. Ludeke has guided the company through dynamic changes that have helped to propel Aspen to be the dominant leader as an independent HVAC manufacturer. Jason brings 20 years of experience in finance, investment banking, industrial services, and manufacturing to Aspen. His extensive background aids him in directing Aspen into the company’s next successful chapter. As a young baseball player and fan, Jason now enjoys coaching his children through their sports journeys.

Riley Archer
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Joining Aspen as VP of sales and marketing in early 2021, Riley has focused on developing sustainable and scalable processes to support the growth and expansion of the business while ensuring a customer-centric culture. With a strong history of global leadership in the industrial, HVAC, and building products industries, Riley supports Aspen’s commercial, marketing, sales, and customer services groups, helping prepare the company for its next phase in expansion. Outside of work, Riley enjoys spending time with his family and is a big Rugby fan and past player.

Jason Makowski
Vice President of Product Management

Jason is an HVAC industry veteran. He came to the Aspen team in 2016 after working with several global leaders in the HVAC industry. Jason provides leadership for product ideation and testing with the product management, development, and engineering teams reporting to him. By focusing on creating innovative, high-quality products that perform beyond many customers’ expectations, his team helps Aspen maintain an innovative product portfolio. When time permits, Jason enjoys traveling and spending time with his young family. He also finds time to hit the gym.

Chris Mullin
Vice President of Operations

Chris joined Aspen over 25 years ago. Due to his continuous dedication, he quickly became Aspen’s operations leader, and in 2016, he was named VP of Operations. During his tenure, Chris has led a transformational change in operations by adopting and applying Lean processes and quality directives, resulting in Aspen’s outstanding product quality leadership. Chris continues his focus on several innovative trends and enhancements through continual improvement practices and procedures that promote quality improvement. After working hours, Chris is an avid outdoorsman, a low handicap golfer, and enjoys spending time on his ranch with his wife, Katie, and son, Cooper.

Aspen utilizes state-of-the-art fabrication, assembly equipment, and stringent quality processes to maintain the highest possible quality in its products. The company adheres to its award-winning lean manufacturing system designed to eliminate inefficient procedures, policies, and production practices. Aspen is proud to share that the company offers customers the shortest possible lead times, delivering on our supply commitments. Incorporating ISO techniques, the company’s quality management system (QMS) ensures product delivery that meets the highest industry standards. Aspen’s leading-edge technology in product quality testing and assurance provides for products that meet or exceed industry standards for excellence.

Quality Compliance

Aspen units are AHRI Certifiable (210/240) with all major brands of HVAC equipment. In addition, Aspen products are compliant with UL 1995 4th edition safety requirements. All raw metal, plastic, and paint materials comply with the ASTM standards. Beyond technical compliance, Aspen can quickly adapt to changing market demands thanks to the company’s nimble ability to react to changes in requirements and leadership’s commitment to enabling a customer-centered company philosophy.

Product Quality

The company relies on rigorous quality control measures to ensure the delivery of energy-efficient products designed and built to the highest standards. Aspen provides its customers with thousands of product options, including OEM matching painted or embossed unpainted cabinets. When you choose Aspen, you get coils with an exact furnace fit explicitly manufactured to customer specifications. Even though Aspen is one of the largest independent coil manufacturers, the company readily provides custom-fit flexibility as part of its customer-centric philosophy.

• 5-Year Parts Limited Warranty backs Light Commercial and Manufactured Housing units
